This year we decided to bring this exciting competition to Mpumalanga. 

The competition will take place at Arabiedam on 12 November 2011. Please diarise this date and come and join us for a fun-filled fishing day! 

The entries are open and you can find the entry form & rules in our "Documents" section.  Please enter and send your entry form & proof of payment through without delay!  You can still enter on the day of the competition.  The tariffs for Matlala Aloe Park are also in this section.  Please note that your entry fee for the competition does NOT include your gate and/or camping fee's.  That is settled directly with the owner. 

The gates will open at 06h00 for those of you that will only come through on the Saturday morning. 

Please take the time to read through our rules for the competition as the organisers would hate to disqualify anyone not abiding by these rules.  Remember that NO fishing is permitted 24 hours prior to the competition!!

The first 100 people who enter, will receive a goody bag with the compliments of Solly's Angler's Corner & various other sponsors.  There will also be a lucky draw as you enter and the prices up for grabs includes weigh-in buckets & measuring rulers (to measure the size of the fish specie).
